Ziegler is pleased to announce the successful pricing of Rockwood’s $81,355,000 Series 2020A and Series 2020B Bonds. A Washington not-for-profit corporation established in 1957, Rockwood owns and operates CCRSs on two campuses in Spokane. Proceeds will be applied toward Phase II of the Whitworth Redevelopment Project.

Ziegler announces the successful closing of the Heritage Community of Kalamazoo’s Series 2020AB Bonds. HCK will use proceeds of the  Bonds to construct 60 independent living units in a new three and four-story residential structure on the western portion of its campus to be known as Revel Creek. The building will feature a new dining venue with commercial kitchen, a bar area, den, living room, library, outdoor terraces with seating spaces and a fitness room.

Ziegler is pleased to announce the successful closing of $27,885,000 Ohio Living Communities’ Series 2020B Bonds. Proceeds will be used to construct Heritage Pointe, a new 11-story, 56-unit independent living building on its Westminster-Thurber campus in Columbus, Ohio.

Ziegler is pleased to announce the successful closing of the UMRC Obligated Group – Porter Hills Presbyterian Village Project’s Series 2020 Bonds. This financing marks the co-obligation of UMRC and Porter Hills, who affiliated in 2019 using the services of Ziegler’s Sponsorship Transition Advisory Practice. Proceeds of the Bonds will primarily be used to refinance Porter Hills’ existing bank debt.

The September 2020 Ziegler CFO HotlineSM poll was devoted to the topic of Resident Monthly Fee increases.  This has been an annual poll conducted by Ziegler for a number of years and is valuable to senior living organizations for budget planning.

Ziegler is pleased to announce the successful closing of Pennybyrn at Maryfield’s Series 2020 Bonds. Located on 72 acres in High Point, NC, Pennybyrn consists of 180 independent living units (131 apartments and 49 cottages); 48 assisted living units (24 standard care and 24 memory support); and 125 skilled nursing beds. Proceeds from the Bonds will finance 42 new independent living apartments, a transitional rehabilitation center and additional refurbishments on the campus.

Ziegler is pleased to announce the successful closing of MRC Senior Living’s $131,405,000 Series 2020 Bonds. Bond proceeds will be used to fund the development of a new senior housing community, Stevenson Oaks. The community will consist of 172 independent living apartments and an assisted living center consisting of 40 assisted living apartments and 24 memory support assisted living suites on approximately 19 acres in Tavolo Park, the new master-planned commercial and residential community in southwest Fort Worth, Texas.
