Director
Terry Herndon joined the senior living team at Ziegler in the spring of 2001. As a director, his primary focus is concentrated on providing analytical and technical support to senior living bankers in the Southeast and Gulf States.
Terry has 23 years of experience in the securities industry. His responsibilities have included fund accounting, financial modeling, debt capacity, and cash flow analysis. He has been involved in a wide variety of debt structures, including unrated, rated, enhanced, fixed-rate, variable rate, step-coupon, and capital appreciation bonds. Transaction types include start-up CCRCs, campus repositionings, current, advance, and forward refundings. Terry has worked with a diverse group of entities including health care providers, utility systems and manufacturing firms, having participated in over 100 financings totaling more than $5.0 billion.
Prior to joining Ziegler, Terry was employed at William R. Hough & Co. as a vice president in their public finance group.
Terry earned a B.S.B.A. with a double major in finance and accounting from Appalachian State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), a Series 7 – General Securities Representative licensee, a Series 53 – Municipal Securities Principal, and a Series 63 – Uniform Securities Agent State Law licensee.
