Peter Anderson joined the Ziegler healthcare investment banking team in 2021. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital formation engagements for clients in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors. His experience spans sales, finance, operations, and marketing across a broad range of healthcare verticals, including biopharmaceuticals, in vitro diagnostics, patient care, and digital health.
Prior to Ziegler, Peter held a variety of international business development and operational roles in the clinical diagnostics industry, first at Siemens Healthineers and later at Thermo Fisher Scientific. He began his investment banking career at Cain Brothers in San Francisco. Peter’s prior experience also includes teaching biology and physics at a high school in South Central Los Angeles and five years active duty service as a Fleet Marine Force Corpsman in the United States Navy.
Peter attended Johns Hopkins University where he concurrently earned MPH and MBA degrees with a focus on biostatistics and health economics. He also holds a Master of Science in Microbiology & Immunology from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from The George Washington University
