Vice President
John Gast joined Ziegler in 2024 as a Vice President in the Senior Housing and Care Finance Practice.n this capacity, John provides transaction support by overseeing the analytical and underwriting efforts, as well as contributing with deal structuring and execution.
Before joining Ziegler, John spent six years at Cambridge Realty Capital, where he specialized in debt solutions for the senior housing and long-term care market. His responsibilities included providing analytical support, underwriting debt transactions, and originating new business for their HUD and bridge loan platforms.
Prior to his time at Cambridge, John worked at Global Logistics Properties (GLP), responsible for the accounting of their industrial real estate investment portfolio. He also served as an assurance associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Detroit, MI.
John holds both a BA and an MS in Accounting from Michigan State University.
