With a career dedicated to the not-for-profit sector, Christie brings extensive experience
in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory services, focusing on
helping clients achieve their strategic objectives.
Christie’s expertise spans various capital sources, including fixed- and variable-rate
bond financings, tax-exempt and taxable debt, limited and private placements, and
bank capital structures. She excels in developing innovative capital solutions, strategic
planning exercises, debt restructuring, credit assessments, and legal and covenant
structuring.
Throughout her career, Christie has successfully sourced, structured, and executed
over $1 billion in capital financing across a range of projects, including new campus
financing, expansion and repositioning financing, refinancing and restructuring, and
mergers and acquisitions financings.
An industry thought leader, Christie is a frequent speaker at state and national
conferences, addressing topics such as strategy, trends, capital market conditions, and
funding sources. She is also a respected voice at Board retreats and industry events,
offering strategic insights and guidance.
Christie holds a B.A. in business administration with degrees in accounting and
marketing. She is a CPA (inactive) in the state of Minnesota and holds Series 50,
52, 63, and 79 licenses, contributing to her expertise and success in the senior living
investment banking sector.
