Director/Head Underwriter
Adam Buchanan joined Ziegler in 2005 and currently serves as lead underwriter for Ziegler’s Capital Market’s desk. Prior to joining the capital markets team in 2009, Adam was an investment banker on Ziegler’s healthcare team.
In 2019, Adam was named Head Underwriter of Ziegler’s Capital markets desk. In this, capacity Adam is responsible for Ziegler’s core non-for-profit banking sectors public market transactions. He has served as lead underwriter on $10 billion of public market transactions. In addition, Adam is responsible for Ziegler’s municipal exchange traded funds market making capital markets business.
Prior to joining Ziegler, Adam was an analyst in the public finance group of Stone & Youngberg LLC. He holds security license designations of Series 7, 24, 52, 53, 63, 79 and 24. He received a B.A. in History from Brown University.
