With over 27 years of experience in the seniors housing industry, Pat brings a unique background in finance, acquisitions, and seniors housing operations. He will be focused on structured senior housing transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity transactions, and strategic financial advisory and his addition continues the growth of the for-profit senior living team at Ziegler.

For roughly 10 years, Ziegler has hosted the Catholic Senior Living Forum for Catholic senior living providers at LeadingAge’s national conference in conjunction with LeadingAge and the Catholic Healthcare Association (CHA). Last month, Catholic senior healthcare providers met in Nashville to discuss the unique challenges facing Catholic senior healthcare providers, as well as the opportunities to serve and to broaden their respective missions.

Ziegler is pleased to announce the successful closing of Penick Village’s $73,295,000 Series 2024A and 2024B Bonds. Located in Southern Pines, NC, Penick Village is carrying out an expansion to their campus, consisting of 44 new independent living apartments with underbuilding parking; a new 5,000 square foot wellness center; a new welcome/guard house and renovations to the health care center.

Ziegler is pleased to announce its role as exclusive sell-side financial advisor to the sale of Canterbury on the Lake, a 273-bed/unit senior living and skilled nursing retirement community located in Waterford Township, MI. The acquiring party is a privately held owner and operator based in Lakewood, NJ.

Ziegler Credit Surveillance (ZCS) is pleased to present this annual study of 19 financial ratio median and quartile values we deem important for analyzing the credit quality of not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs).
